How to identify a suspected unlawful activity
Before proceeding with the report, identify the nature of the unlawful activity or violation. You can report unauthorized access, spamming, phishing, copyright infringement, illegal content, or other behavior that does not comply with Aruba policies.
Examples of unlawful activity
• Inappropriate content
If you find violent or inappropriate phrases or images; material that promotes, encourages, or involves the exploitation and abuse of minors within a website.
• Phishing
If you have received emails or have been redirected to a website that requests personal information. For more information, consult this guide.
• SPAM
If you receive unsolicited emails or unwanted advertising messages. For more information, consult this guide.
• Malware and viruses
If you discover websites involved in the distribution of viruses or other malware, or that promote, encourage, or are involved in computer or network intrusion or tampering. For more information, consult this guide.
• Cyberbullying
If you notice that the internet is being used for intimidating purposes.
• Copyright / trademark infringement
If someone has copied your content.
• Identity theft
If you are not a customer but have received emails stating that the digital certificate assigned to you for digital signature or SPID has been suspended or revoked.
• Reports of unrecognized payments
If you have received emails regarding service payments that you do not recognize.
• Other security issues
If you have other security reports not listed above.
Collect details
Try to gather as much evidence as possible to support your report. Attach screenshots, suspicious emails, malicious URLs, or other relevant information.
How to report a suspected unlawful activity
To report a suspected unlawful activity, you must include a detailed explanation of the abuse or violation, together with the evidence you have collected. In particular, the report must contain the following information:
- Reasoned explanation of the unlawful activity
Clearly and thoroughly describe the abuse or violation you have identified.
- Exact location of the information
Clearly indicate the exact electronic location of the reported information, such as precise URLs or other details that allow the illegal or inappropriate content to be identified.
- Contact information
Provide your name and email address, or those of your organization, so you can be contacted if further information or clarification is needed regarding the report.
- Good faith declaration
Include a statement confirming in good faith the accuracy and completeness of the information and statements provided in the report. For example: "I hereby confirm in good faith the completeness, truthfulness, and accuracy of the information provided."
- Additional information
Add any other information deemed useful to assess the report and take the necessary measures to resolve the abuse or violation.
- Report category
Specify the type of report you are submitting (copyright infringement, identity theft, phishing, SPAM, etc.). Based on your selection, additional data may be requested.

To report a suspected unlawful activity, you can use one of the following methods:

What happens after submitting the report
After submitting the report, we will carefully review it and take the necessary actions to counter any violation. These actions include notifying the competent judicial authorities in accordance with Legislative Decree 70/2003 and may include measures such as suspension or blocking of the service, where there is clear and certain evidence of the reported violation.
